Move to America

North America is distinguished by Canada and the United States which are very regular destinations for our customers.

For the USA, the specificity is that you must have your VISA before moving from your departure city. For other destinations, VISAs or work/resident permits must be presented when your move arrives at the port of destination. You can thus leave your country of departure without being in possession of the documents required to enter your move in the country of destination.

For the USA, 3 specific documents must be completed at the time of departure: Power of Attorney, US customs service and 3299 form. It is mandatory to have an address in the USA (even temporary) to import your international move.

In Canada, the specificity is that you must physically be present yourself at customs in order to clear your international move.

As far as South America, we carry out for our clients, large groups and companies, a lot of removals to this destination which remains the most complicated for customs clearance.
