Move to the United States

Once your belonging are packed, we transport your goods to the port of Le Havre, where our teams receive your containers to do the first customs procedures.
Your belongings are then transported by boat to the American ports closest to your future city of residence.

Your belongings are taken care of by our American teams on site, cleared through customs and transported to your new home.

Whether you are an individual, a company, a soldier or a civil servant, we offer the same services from the United States to France.

We also accompany you throughout your trip.
You benefit from a personalized follow-up with a single contact, allowing us to follow your personal belongings throughout their journey.

Mandatory documents will be requested:

• US Customs Form 3299; U.S. Customs Service; power of attorney 
• Certificate of change of residence and transfer order for civil servants and soldiers
• Copy of passport and visa, each legible and of good quality
• Detailed inventory in euros and in French for French customs which must be signed and dated   

Some taxes are applied on American territory:

• Furniture in your possession for less than a year is taxed
• Vehicles (cars and two-wheelers) must meet all standards of the state of residence

Each container entering American territory is scanned.

The U.S. Departments of Agriculture and Nature Services may at any time decide to inspect your personal belongings.
